Connect to Your School

The first step after registering is to search for and connect to your school.

1. While on your dashboard, click the "Connect your school" button in the top left

     2. Next, search for your school by name or address

Note: If you can't find your school, you can add it manually by using your school's address

     3. If you are the first school leader for your school, click on "Become a school leader"

Note: If your school already has a school leader, you will see a button to "Join Now". We will notify your existing school leader of this request and they can approve your request

    4. Fill out our School Leader Verification Form and our team will review and approve your request within 2 business days

    5. Once approved, you will gain access to school leader features such as inviting teachers, managing school-wide actions and goals, creating custom AI tools, and viewing analytics across your entire school

    Invite Teachers to Your School

Once connected, you can invite teachers to join your school from the Teachers page. Enter one or more email addresses to send an invitation.

Teachers will receive an email to complete their account and automatically connect to your school.

    Unlock Premium Features

To optionally unlock premium features for your teachers, head to the Billing page to purchase seats. Once you've checked out, return to the Teachers page to individually upgrade each teacher on their behalf.

Manage School-Wide Positive & Negative Actions

You can create a shared set of actions that all teachers at your school can use in their classrooms.

Positive actions reward students with points and experience (e.g., On Time → +2 points)
Negative actions deduct points for unwanted behaviors (e.g., Speaking out of turn → -3 points)

Once created, these actions become available to every teacher in your school.

    Manage School-Wide Goals

School-wide goals give your entire school something to work toward together. Set a goal name, a point target, and optionally allow students and teachers to contribute their own points toward it.

    Create Custom AI Tools

In addition to Classroom Hero's built-in AI tools, School Leaders can create custom AI tools for their teachers to use. When setting one up, you'll define the input fields and configure the AI prompt — for example, an Essay Feedback Generator that takes a student essay as input and returns structured feedback.

First, navigate to the School AI Tools page.

Next, input the name of your AI Tool and a description.

Then, input any fields that you want as part of your AI tool.

And finally, customize the AI prompt and reference the fields you created in your prompt.

Once you've created your AI Tool, click on it from your list of custom tools

Fill in the fields and click "Generate".

Navigate to the AI Output Page to see the status of your generation and any outputs
